I wouldn't cap off the end. I would add a threaded end cap so you can clean out the line anytime. I also just put a line in the water to keep the water from getting hot and boiling your bait. After all that 1 to 2 inches under your sprayer make a hole to prevent over filling, adjust the flow rate to match your pump and you are golden 👌

very cool. i would have drilled a hole on the inside of the cooler lining and reamed it to insert the end cap. that would stabilized the circulation pipe. still, great idea 👍🏽

to make the drilling process easier couldn't you put a wood dowle rod inside the pvc pipe before drilling to prevent from going all the way through?

Correct me if I’m wrong but, Why not use marine caulk for the fittings the glue could possibly contaminate the cooler and kill your bait.
