Using organic fertilizers in pots doesn’t always work that well. If the soil dries out (which is likely, many times over) it turns into a desert. Most of the pant growth promoting rhizobacteria, mycorrhizal fungi and micro fauna grazers die off. It takes time to reestablish symbiosis. By the time it’s back in action, here comes the next dry season when the plant uses up all the moisture. This is a comparison between too much bioavailable fertilizer and a fish. If you don’t use too much fertilizer in the first place the flower would grow beautifully. It feels somewhat disingenuous due to that. Why compare too much of one thing with a lower amount of another?
