I got 17 an hour and everyone called in and becuz I actually cared and showed up everyday I was "mandated" to stay 16-24 hrs. it was like a punishment I showed up and never called in.

I worked in a group home and protocol in a case like this is to call other employees for help first management second and if no help can be given to call police, but never ever call police first. The company will protect their pockets a million times before caring for the employees.
