@thecalmdigitalpath: As a massage therapist with over 20 years experience, this is one of my favourite self-massage techniques for the temporalis muscle and to help release the fascia on the side of the head. Trigger points and tension in this area can cause tension headaches, pain in the temples, around the eyebrows, across the forehead, jaw pain and even toothache. Use a small bouncy ball to make small circles across the side of your head, above the ear and around the temples. Rest your opposite elbow on a table or the arm of the sofa so your head can relax into your hand. You can also press and hold for 8-12 seconds, then move slightly and repeat. Remember to do both sides. Save this for the next time you feel a tension headache coming on. Educational content only. If you have a medical condition, injury, or you're unsure whether this is suitable for you, follow the advice of your healthcare professional. #tensionheadache #headacherelief #selfmassage #jawtension #jawpain

If you get tension headaches, where do you tend to feel them first?
Temples, forehead, behind the eyes, or somewhere else?
