I would worry about how much it would dull over time. Or show any kind of smudge. I love a cool matte tone though! But that really does look slick!

That looks gorgeous, the flush fitting nature of the cover and the rails - all levels have been worked out👌 I agree with another poster about the finish, hotter than the sun and a nightmare to keep clean. Maybe a matt white to reflect the heat but not the light.
