The initiative taken by the elders of the Ga State to organize this seminar for our Asafoatsemei and Asafoanyemei is both commendable and timely. In an era where globalization swiftly erodes indigenous values, grounding our traditional leaders in the authentic tenets of Ga culture is a necessity, not a luxury. The Asafoatse and Asafoanye are the pillars of defense, unity, and mobilization in Ga communities. They are the guardians of our heritage. For them to lead effectively, they must deeply understand the history, the taboos, the sacred symbols, and the philosophy of the people they protect.
