Thanks for telling us about this. If the security is broken at booking.com we must stop using booking.com until they fix it! Book hotels directly and use travel agents!

I had exactly the same thing - but mine was a message through the Booking.com app on the same thread as the hotel booking. It looked like it came from the hotel.

this is why I never book via Booking.com. I go direct to the airline and hotel or holiday company. Booking.com and the rest of these so called holiday finding cheaper holidays. do loads of mistakes with people's bookings. I was away at the hotel and a person who booked via booking.com messed up there booking.
