@jadesbodygoals: 🥤Protein shakes aren’t suddenly “bad” — but the internet loves a simple villain 😅 Here’s what’s actually being missed 👇 The term ‘ultra-processed’ tells you how a food is made, not what it does in your body. Two foods can sit in the same category… …and have completely different outcomes 🤷🏼♀️ 🧠 What really matters: • Protein content • Fibre & micronutrients • How full it keeps you • How stable your energy is afterwards That’s why a high-protein smoothie bowl 🥤🥄 behaves very differently in your body than croissants 🥐, sugary cereals 🥣 or fast-food breakfasts 🍔 which are typically very low in nutritional value and high in refined carbs. Those foods digest quickly → spike blood sugar → trigger hunger again fast 😵💫 Protein-rich breakfasts digest slower → support fullness & steadier energy ⚡️ And yes — whole foods like eggs 🍳 and avocado 🥑 are brilliant when time allows. But nutrition that works in real life will always beat nutrition that only works in theory ⏰ As a mum of four 👩👧👦👦, I don’t teach perfection — I teach sustainable choices. ✨ The goal isn’t “never processed.” The goal is nourished, consistent, and supported. 💥👇🏼 Comment or DM “PROTEIN” to get the links to my recommended protein meal shake and post workout shake that actually tastes good but will help you hit your goals quicker 💪🏼
