Our RIVER used to freeze enough to ice skate safety level of frozen when my dad was young. It hasn't frozen in decades and he still says it's not climate change 😞

i'm 50, i remember cooler summers and colder winters. i remember bugs on the windshield so thick we had to stop halfway on a roadtrip to clean the windshield. I remember going to sleep to the sound of hundreds of frogs.

As a 55 year old, no, it is totally different now. climate change is real. even when it's not over 100, the UV intensity is insane. And I used to be locked out of the house during the day in summer...the only reason we drank from water hoses was out of desperation, not "nostalgia"

im 40, I remember having REAL winters when I was a kid, when I was a teen. by my 20s they started getting shorter. by my 30s, they got shorter. now, it shows maybe once or twice a winter, and it stays for a day, maybe two, and it all melts again. there was an entire industry and market around winter activities. stores were filled with snow removal equipment, all different kinds of sleds, snow suits, etc. when was the last time anyone bought a snow suit!? when was the last time anyone bought a sled? I havent seen a sled in a store at least 15 years. in the 90s, there were isles full of different kinds of sleds. im not old, and I can see it all coming to a boil.
