my great uncle was a belly gunner in ww2 he was pretty deaf but would not really talk about it i think seeing your friends killed will change a guy

my grandfather was apart of the black watch in ww2, he was 20-21, lived through it and died in 2005

The brother of my grandfather was sent to Russia in the ww2, and he told me some stories, 1 in partucular was very sad, his best friend, during the freezing night lost a leg because it freezed and my grandmother was german, she didn’t fight but she could reconize the sound of multiple americans bombers, and she negarlo died because her house was destroyed by a raid
