Trent has a hard heart. unfortunately they will be judged based on the law .I believe. cuz being like warm one foot trusting what Jesus did and another foot not trust what he did. will cause you to be judged by the law. and if God says why should I let you in heaven. they would probably start listing all the good works they did lol unfortunately that's what the majority will say. and only few will actually say they're saved because what Jesus accomplished on the cross. those are the people who will say lord, lord in the end . Jesus said the tax collector and prostitute will enter the kingdom of heaven before you. he said this to the religious people of that time. goes to show you it's faith alone. not works. having faith is a work itself. and we must overcome the doubts and trust in the new covenant 😎✌️love your preaching brother!

The confusion is simple. we as christians tend to read soley from the new teastament on this topic. but the bible is meant to be read as a whole. If you look at how God interacts with people, specifically Saul and David, you begin to see the full picture. Saul sins and hardens his heart a little each time until eventually he completely rejects God. Where as David sins and humbles himself promoting a soft heart and ultimateley a relatiinship despite being disciplined. So the answer is simple, we do not save ourselves we accept the gift but the gift can be lost, up until death, if we willingly begin to reject it. So yes salvation can be lost but it's not as easy as some make it out to be. It hinges on your heart posture and willingness to listen towards the Holy Spirit.

I really hate the term cheap grace. Grace=getting something we do not deserve. It is something given, not earned. There is no cost to it for it to be cheap. There is an immense cost after you get it though! Jesus tells us to deny ourselves, take our cross and follow him. We lose our entire life to follow Jesus! Oh but how worth it is that cost! For that huge cost is dying to the wicked man of the past and being born again into a new wonderful life of grace where the love of God abounds. No one wants to lose that life, and no one would risk it for a few sins. Every single person who has received that grace mourns every single sin they commit, but knows that grace abounds and on Jesus it is all paid for. A person that has received that "cheap grace" has no desire at all to sin all they want.
