For what it's worth, I might notice, I might not. If I do notice, it'll be a glance and I'll get on with my day. We're all imperfect humans. Some of us can cover our imperfections with clothing or a smile. But underneath it all, we're all just sentient meat and calcium. If anyone is looking at you a certain way, just know that they too have something they're not proud of, they can just hide it better on a hot day. ❤️

my legs look exactly the same ! first summer i’ve decided to just let them out, it’s someone else’s problem if they think it’s weird. i can’t remember everytime i got my legs out but i remember everytime i didnt <3 love to see online that i’m not the only one

I’m getting put on something called Methotrexate as an immunosuppressant for my psoriasis. I’m also in the UK and would definitely recommend looking into it 😊 I have several psoriasis and it’s flaring up on my face a lot recently, so I understand the worry and panic

I’m a larger person. I live with oedema in one leg, varicose veins, and a body that carries plenty of things I’ve spent far too long wishing were different. But I’ve made a decision: I’m no longer going to let the fear of what other people might think stop me from doing the things that bring me joy. So now, I swim. Regularly. And do you know what I’ve discovered? Not once have I felt judged. Not once has anyone stared or made me feel like I didn’t belong. The stories we tell ourselves are often far harsher than reality. Our minds can be incredibly convincing, but they aren’t always truthful. Most people are far too busy living their own lives to scrutinise ours. And even if someone does have an opinion, it doesn’t define my worth or determine what I deserve to experience. My body doesn’t have to be perfect to be worthy of movement, happiness, or taking up space. It has carried me through every challenge I’ve faced, and that’s something to be grateful for. If fear of being seen is stopping you from doing something you love, this is your reminder: you deserve to be there, exactly as you are.
