@realfarmerjeff: My fourth point about watering might be the most important one. Since grow bags have less soil than a raised bed, it’s important that you “deep water” your grow bags. I will usually water until droplets starts to come out of the fabric sides and then I move onto the next bag. However, I will later come back to each bag for a second pass and water until water starts to leak out again. This allows time for the water to seep down to the bottom of the bag.
