Watching foreigners react during the World Cup to things like free refills, unlimited air conditioning, and those legendary Texas Roadhouse rolls has been hilarious—but also kind of eye-opening. It’s funny how the things we barely even notice can feel like luxuries to someone experiencing them for the first time. We get so used to what’s around us that it’s easy to stop appreciating it.
