I take the seat out if I need the extra room. I’d definitely do this swap over the Nissan Versa I did recently. Hated every last minute of that job.

also another contributing factor to that burning up is the Ground splice pack on the passenger side fender behind the air box. They become corroded and dont ground as good

I hate how complicated all this is now. I have a 2017 Kia Sportage. The blend door piece that sticks into the actuator broke in the actuator. Only way to replace the blend door is to take the whole dash off. $1700. mainly labor. 🙄 I was like nah ill spin it myself.

Try to leave the other 2 in it to hold up some of the weight it felt tighter cuz of gravity pulling the blower motor down
