Even after the 1 year point, breastmilk isn’t really bad. The nutritional value just goes down. So you wouldn’t want to give milk that has been frozen for 18 months to a 2 month old, but you could easily give it to an 11 month old, if that makes sense!

Defrost the breastmilk period and if it smells fine, then give it to her! Breastmilk is usually good for a year. So I think you’re in the realm of it’s still being OK to give her.

I gave my baby “expired” frozen breastmilk and nothing bad happened. I feel like the standard rules are extra precautionary and if you have an otherwise healthy baby and monitor them it should be ok! Also ok if you choose to not use it
