no matter how much hate this movie gets I'm just glad that out there was a little girl that begged her mom to watch Supergirl in theaters. Sat down in the theaters that felt too big for her and got the message that she could be angry and messy that doesn't make her any less kind. I was that little girl btw. 💞

As someone who's read and love the comic Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, I'm glad we're truly seeing this message on the big screen. I remember that I finished reading it at 1:00 AM and spent the next 4 hours thinking about it because I wanted everyone to know about it and feel what it felt to read what's beyond those panels and I'm just happy it's now on our screens 😭
