What if the people I need to disappoint are my parents and loved ones? I really want to do something else. I want to be somewhere else and become the person I've always wanted to be. I just want to pursue what I truly want. I've tried so hard to be happy just so I could enjoy where I am right now, but I always ended up crying because, deep down, I wasn't really happy. It always felt like something was missing. Even writing this here makes me cry because I've been holding my feelings in for so long, and I don't know where or how to let them out.

I just started choosing myself lately. No more promising to help finance my siblings education, less visits to them and finally choosing myself even if everything felt so wrong. I finally stood and set my boundaries. I am starting to choose myself, love more myself and heal myself. I hope to unlock the best version of myself that I had to put on standby for all those years just to accomodate their "needs". 🩵🥹

I don't want other people to have a bad impression of me, so i kept it all inside. I can take insults and shady comments about being me, but thinking about it all as the day ends, it makes me feel worse for being myself. I doubt myself for being me. I doubt my capabilities...

Chose my mental health over renewing a contract that heavily weighed on me due to generations of family working in that industry. I know they were left questioning why I left, but I’m grateful that they’ve been supportive of my journey now, even if it doesn't look stable enough yet. Though I feel a lingering doubt inside of them, I just pray they will never stop believing in me, no matter how long it takes.
