You still have to try your best to keep His Commandments. We cannot “steal” or “trick” God into giving us His Salvation. But we are called to try to keep His Commandments, repent, turn away from sin, go to church (Orthodox) , confess our sins, get communion, pray, fast. All of these things help cleanse us and empower us to stay away from sin. All of these things purify us little by little and empower us to stay closer to God. No one knows who will be saved. We all find that out in the end, when God the Father will Judge us and lay all our good deeds and sins we’ve committed, in front of us and in front of everybody. And will look towards Jesus Christ and ask Him : what do you think? If Jesus says : “He/She is one of mine” then we’ll be okay. If He says :” i never knew him/her” you just lost everything. We are nothing but flesh and sin without God. God bless you all 🙏🏻💜☦️

Prt2 Then you completely skip Ephesians because it destroys your argument. Ephesians 2 says we are saved by grace through faith and not of ourselves it is the gift of God not of works lest anyone should boast. Then the very next verse says we are created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Paul separates justification from works but never separates genuine faith from the life that follows. Works are the fruit not the root. You also say Paul expanded his argument to every kind of work while ignoring that the same Paul says faith works through love in Galatians 5. He tells believers to abound in the work of the Lord in First Corinthians 15. He tells Titus to devote themselves to good works. So clearly Paul is not against works. He is against using works to become righteous before God. Romans 11 is not saying Christians should never obey. It is saying you cannot mix grace with earning righteousness. The moment you make your obedience the basis of your justification grace is no longer grace. That is exactly what Paul is condemning. Then you misuse Second Corinthians 3. Paul is contrasting the old covenant that condemned sinners with the new covenant of the Spirit that gives life. He is not saying God’s moral standard is evil. He is showing the Law could expose sin but never save from it. The irony is your own theology contradicts the argument you are making. You say Paul excludes every form of human obedience from justification yet your church teaches that remaining in a state of grace depends on confession to a priest after mortal sin, participation in the sacraments, and other obligations. You cannot say Paul excludes human merit and then make sacramental obedience necessary to remain justified. Paul’s gospel is simple. We are justified by grace through faith because of Christ alone. Then because we have been made new the Holy Spirit produces good works through us. Ephesians 2 says it perfectly. We are not saved by works but we are saved for works. That is the order. Change the order and you change the gospel.
