Continental tires last ONLY 20,000 miles! Period !!!!!!!! On my G-90…. But sold as 50,000 mile rating ! I’m on my 3 rd set !!!!!!

My wife had Kumho as OEM on her Santa Fe. I replaced them at 88k miles…with the identical model. I will get about 60k on my Santa Fe Hybrid OEM Continentals.

That’s why I laughed when someone comes to my shop and the first tire brand they ask for is Michelin, it’s like I can get you in a tire just as good for half the price. Are all tires like this no, there are some tires I wouldn’t recommend but I would never put Michelin tires on my vehicles only because they are the most expensive and to be honest we don’t make much on them either where I can’t discount them much.

wait, did you say higer margin on name brand?? you've never sold tires before. the market is so stiff with a name brand tire and you cant make money on them if you want to be competitive. yes.. 18-27% margin on Michelin. 30-48% margin on a falken, nexen, Sumitomo. the only reason people request michelin tires is because they know the name. the tire is 100% garbage and will never get the mileage they are rated for... 10 years ago? they were an amazing tire back then. they have removed all of the components that gave them longevity

I buy brand name tires if I can. I go online and find them cheap and have Discount Tire price match me. Usually Amazon is where I find the best price

Falken and general are definitely the top sellers where I work, especially truck tires like the grabber atx and Wildpeak At4ws are excellent
