Any nerves quickly disappeared as we produced one of the most ruthless away performances in our European history, effectively putting the tie to bed before the return leg at Anfield. Sadio Mané opened the scoring before Mohamed Salah doubled our lead just four minutes later with one of the coolest goals of his Liverpool career, juggling the ball around both the goalkeeper and defender before calmly finishing. We never looked back. Mané grabbed his second after the break, Roberto Firmino got the goal his performance deserved, and with five minutes remaining Mané completed a magnificent hat-trick by powering past José Sá to crown a devastating display. The front three were simply irresistible, tearing Porto apart with pace, movement and clinical finishing as we announced ourselves to the rest of Europe in emphatic fashion. Ruthless. Lethal. Deadly.
