Hello, everyone. I'm a feminist, and I believe in women's rights, freedom, and equality. I'd like to talk to you about something that's very important to me. In many Arab countries, as well as in some other parts of the world, there are women who face violence, oppression, control, and the denial of their most basic rights and freedoms. Being Arab does not mean I should hide this painful reality or pretend it doesn't exist. I am an Arab woman, and I openly acknowledge that many Arab women are still not free—and I am one of them. I'm trying not to give up. I find hope in your kindness and your support. I truly believe that, no matter where we come from or what our backgrounds are, we have more in common than we think because so many women face similar struggles every day. If you believe the cause I'm fighting for is worth supporting, please stand with me. Together, we can challenge the barriers that hold women back and help make sure more voices are heard. I stand with the women of Afghanistan and with every woman who is oppressed, silenced, or denied her basic rights. No matter where we come from, we all deserve freedom, dignity, and equality.
