Just had my rear main seal, a door latch, transmission pan gasket, oil pan gasket , and something else done for 2k on my 2015 f250 just gotta find a really good backyard mechanic who you will feed work and can pay cash , mf dropped my transmission and did all that work, plus some other smaller stuff , checking all fluids and topping off coolant and what not , seriously need just 1 good mechanic , and one really good body work shop and you will go far flipping

Rear main seal leaks always look more impressive than they actually are. I wouldn’t be surprised if it is only leaking out 1 quart/ year

You can find some good deals tho if you look long enough! Got a 2001 Silverado all it needed was power steering hoses, ignition coils and plugs and a trans cooler line 😁. Got it for $350 had a brand new sound system (pioneer) and the A/C worked! Just sold it for $1900. Let me not forget had 20” wheels with mudslinger tires 🤣

Nah bro you’re trippin 1800 was a good price even with all the rust if you do the work yourself get the rear main seal fixed and the ac working it’s worth some money
