@nicklee.pt: Most runners only train their calves one way… but strong runners need more than just endless calf raises! That’s why I like to train them in a few different ways: 1️⃣ Single-leg calf raise - 3 × 8-12 reps 2️⃣ Lunge calf raise hold - 3 × 30-40s 3️⃣ Bent knee calf raise - 3 x 8-12 reps 4️⃣ Single-leg pogos - 2 × 15-20 reps 5️⃣ Lateral single-leg pogos - 2 × 15-20 reps Mixing strength, isometrics and plyometrics can help build calves that are stronger, more resilient, and better prepared for the demands of running. Save this for your next lower-body session and start adding a few of these into your training each week 👊🏻 #calfstrength #fastrunning #anklestability #runningtips #ukrunning
