@thesunnahguy: This might be tough to hear. But the people in your life who truly love you, will be hard on you. Their interest lies in seeing you successful. And sometimes that requires tough love. Think about the most sincere people in your life. Your parents, your best friend, your teachers. They care about your future so they will at times be harsh on you. The ones you need to be careful of are the ones who see you going down the wrong path and say nothing to you. Do they really care about you? Most of the times they’re interested in making sure you like them as opposed to doing what’s best for you. But the ones who love you will tell you what you need to hear, as opposed to what you want to hear. They are the ones you need to protect.
