Braces are MAGIC, literally had monster teeth (2 sets of teeth in front of other teeth) and after one surgery the braces began working overtime to close the gap, then the shaping, a few years later and I haven’t gone back since my retainers are still good (never missed a night) and I brush regularly, not perfect teeth but I can SMILE
