One second, checking the exact wording. So, the actual hadith in Sahih al-Bukhari says that if you wake up, you rinse your nose three times because Satan spends the night on the nostrils. It does not say “lives in your nose”. The narration is considered authentic within Sunni collections, but interpretation is debated. Some read it literally, and some read it symbolically.
