Che Guevara (1928–1967) became one of the world's best-known Marxist revolutionaries, advocating socialist revolution and anti-imperialism. He played a key role in the Cuban Revolution and became an enduring symbol for many left-wing movements around the world. At the same time, his legacy remains highly debated, with supporters praising his revolutionary ideals and critics pointing to his role in armed conflict and post-revolutionary executions. In contrast, Javier Milei, Argentina's current president since December 2023, promotes libertarian and free-market economic policies. His government has focused on reducing public spending, deregulating parts of the economy, and tackling Argentina's long-standing inflation and fiscal challenges.
