People that have never worked retail will say the dumbest stuff and give the worst advice. I worked 6 years for a grocery store for my first job don’t get me wrong there were great people that work there and you meet great customers but upper management always made you feel like you should do better even if you were one of the best workers. It always seemed like they would defend the worst workers. That job sucked the life out of me.

We had 100s of applicants and never hired it’s every where they want the bare min employees so they don’t have to pay it took me months to find another job

Is there a Target by you? I think they start at $15 an hour. The employees at my Target are all adults…30’s and up. I wish you well in your job search.

if everyone lost their job at retail, oops no more stores. people need to be greatful that they have a privilege. the amount of abuse that we receieve is AWFUL.

Of course,I'm sure they have never worked in a retail job ever. Corporate loves to cut hours because now after covid, its work more with less and people are tired of doing twenty jobs for the pay of one.
