One of the biggest myths around testosterone replacement therapy is that starting TRT means you’ll never be able to have children. The reality is far more nuanced. TRT suppresses your body’s natural testosterone production, which can reduce sperm production and lower fertility while you’re on treatment. But lower fertility isn’t the same as complete infertility. Plenty of men have conceived naturally whilst taking TRT. If having children is important to you, there are strategies that may help preserve or restore fertility, including HCG, enclomiphene, and in some cases HMG, depending on your goals and individual situation.
