Mustafa Zahid's song "Tera Mera Rishta" originated from his band's track "Aana Jaana" from the album Rozen-e-Deewar. Initially, Mahesh Bhatt selected "To Phir Aao" as the main track from the album and later included "Aana Jaana" as well. However, director Mohit Suri requested Mustafa to change the lyrics of "Aana Jaana" to "Tera Mera Rishta" to fit a specific film scene where the character Emraan is remembering Allah.
