For so many years I couldn’t feel beautiful. My therapist once asked me “what do you specifically find “ugly “ in yourself”, and I noticed that I couldn’t name something specific. I thought: “my facial features are fine, my body is healthy and fit” and still I could not feel beautiful. I couldn’t understand why. Now I realise that us humans often attach beauty to our identity. The reason why I couldn’t feel beautiful wasn’t ever about my body or my face, it touched a deeper belief that had to do with my identity, and what it meant to be loved and “good enough”. i also have 2 to 3 stage of scoliosis and the timing is just perfect! today we talked about it with my friends, and i said that “ i don’t wanna hide it anymore, i don’t care how it looks”, so i know how you exactly feel while you tried to hide it. i think it is a sign, and thank you for making us to find the answer from this point of view💕
