Ekko misses Powder, he detests Jinx and literally fights her to save Zaun. If your dynamic relies on one person wishing the other's current personality didn't exist, it's not a ship, it's a tragedy.. - B-But Lux and Ezreal... - Lux's actual lore interaction with him is basically "Who are you again? Please step away from me." So please, keep using your "canon logic" while shipping a childhood ghost and a guy who is practically a stranger - B-but Arcane lore is officially canon to League now!!! Everything is connected! - That means Ekko's official, ultimate canon stance is that Powder is dead and Jinx is just a dangerous psycho he has to fight. He literally says, "I used to want to save you, now I just want to save what's left." Arcane canon locked them into a tragic, broken past.

Where do they even make that connection? It’s not just because they want to play the victim or use Ekko’s skin as leverage to make themselves look right and paint anyone who doesn’t ship TimeBomb as the bad guy. They also say that because, to them, Ekko and Jinx only exist as a ship. They don’t see them as their own individual characters anymore. To them, saying you don’t like the ship is basically the same as saying you hate the characters, because they can’t separate the characters from the relationship especially when it comes to Ekko.
