If you watch the original video without the music she is saying “no” and clearly getting overwhelmed. He stepped in to have them not crowd her. It had nothing to to with jealousy or wanting the spotlight. He wasn’t looking for high fives he wanted them to stay back. Imagine being alone for all that time and then be crowded in on.

Everyone is forgetting that right before this clip she literally said “I appreciate all of the love and support, I never thought anyone would care this much, I am going to go lay down now, as I am extremely exhausted” then people proceeded to start to give her more high fives and hugs. He wasn’t being too much. He was literally protecting her sanity, and making it to where she could FINALLY lay down and get good sleep, after being in a non stop moving boat for 40 days.
