Maggie my family makings this all the time, don’t add the cold water to the jello! Only do the 2 cups of boiling water! That’s why your first one was watery

My family recipe uses boiling pineapple juice instead of water & we add the frozen strawberries to it! Helps it gel up faster so less waiting & lots more flavor!🥰

Pro tip if the Jell-O doesn’t set what I always do when I make Jell-O is, I never add the cups of cold water and I promise it has never failed me

that dessert is so good but tests your patience lmao. the waiting for the pretzels to cool kills me everytime. I've had pretzel slop a few times before hahaha.

One thing I do is put ice cubes or frozen strawberries into the jello mixture to get it nice and cool before pouring over the cream cheese mixture! Helps a ton! Plus always ensuring to seal the edges with the cream cheese layer! Happy 4th!!

I don't put the jello on top until it starts to thicken.
