You could just “bodybuild” and not be lean. Most never compete or are that lean

Pole dancing! Takes a bit of time to get used to it but you can do SO much and not have to cross-train. It is life changing tho

Tbh you’re thinking about it too much. 1. There’s weight classes to strongman, there’s plenty that aren’t massive: the massive ones are just the popular ones 2. Powerlifting is probably the most welcoming community I’ve ever been in, it doesn’t matter how bad or good you are at it, you can have a lot of fun with it. Plus there’s powerlifting competitions that’s only deadlift and bench press, you’re not the only one who hates back squat lol

Indoor climbing. You don't even ever have to go more than 4 feet off the ground. You can just boulder all day. 👍

Olympic weightlifting I do it. You don’t have to cut weight or anything to compete/practice

Have you thought about trying out some form of martial arts? When I went to an mma gym I used to just spar for fun and I did one in house fight at our gym. It’s fun and you get to compete but if you’re not planning on being like a pro fighter you can still have fun in the ring and not take it too seriously. And there’s so many to choose from, jiu jitsu, boxing, Muay Thai, karate, etc

Girl, none of those athletes are “naturally” strong! Yes, maybe some have physical and lifestyle advantages that set them up for success. But, none of them got to their level without a lot of work. You can be just as strong if you want to be!

Strongman! You mentioned it at the end, but yeah you'd have fun. You do need to be heavier to be better, but you can still have fun without being heavy.

I question how strongmen afford the diet.

Adding rock climbing to the mix. It’s both strength training and mentally stimulating. It’s like a physical puzzle.

So far from bodybuilding I’ve gotten into OCRs, kayaking, triathlons, and rock climbing. Starting to look into martial arts now too
