I hope this video provides some clarity on the different detergent forms and which one is best for you! I partnered with @Tide Laundry as I thought they were a perfect fit for this since they're one of the few brands that has liquid, pod, and powder forms. #TidePartner In short, each form has their strengths and a few weaknesses: Liquid - An excellent stain pretreatment, customizable dosing, and great for handwashing. But it can be a bit heavy and messy. Pods - The chamber design allows for pods to be the most concentrated form. They are great if you prefer someone else to sort out dosing for you, plus they are very portable! Sadly they cannot be used to pretreat stains. Powder - Is amazing at whitening and brightening clothes thanks to the unique addition of powdered oxygen bleach. Plus, because there's no water, powder is actually the lightest of the forms and is usually packaged in cardboard. To pretreat stains simply mix some powder with water and apply. Having more than one is wise as you'll likely have different needs when caring for your clothes. For example, I use liquid as my 'daily driver', pods when I'm in a rush, and powder for whitening my sheets.
