💔 This tiny 2-month-old puppy should be learning what it feels like to be safe… not growing up in a shelter kennel. Found all alone as a stray, this precious little boy has no one. He’s just a baby, yet he’s already facing one of the scariest experiences of his life. He wants out so badly. He also appears to be very itchy, likely from fleas, and he won’t receive flea treatment or even be dewormed while at the shelter. Instead, he’ll continue waiting in a kennel until someone gives him a chance. He should be playing with toys, taking naps in a cozy bed, and learning that people can be trusted. Instead, he’s spending his days on a concrete floor, surrounded by barking dogs, with no comfort and an uncertain future. If you’re considering adopting him, please remember that puppies are not temporary commitments. They require patience, training, socialization, exercise, regular veterinary care, and lots of love. They can live 10–15 years or more, and they deserve a family that’s committed to them for life. He’s only a puppy. He deserves the chance to grow up knowing what it feels like to be loved. Please help this sweet little boy find the loving home or rescue he’s waiting for before shelter life puts his future at risk. ⸻ Kennel 30 | #D26796 • ~2 months, Male, Hound mix (guess) • Stray 7/7, available 7/11 📍Greenville Animal Control Shelter 5800 Joe Ramsey Blvd, Greenville, TX Open daily 9am–5pm ☎️ 903 457 2990 📧 Rescue tags: animalcontrol@ci.greenville.tx.us 💲Adoption: 87 Includes 1/3 rounds of shots, neuter, microchip, & rabies. Will need to be dewormed & see a vet. Adoptions are in person or need foster with rescue backing, as the shelter does not have a foster program. ‼️The Dogs Need Our Help is a 1 volunteer-run networking page‼️
