@orga_francis: Today, over 1000 young men passed off square at the Julius Maada Bio Drill Square after successfully completed the First Phase of their recruitment training. Three months ago, they arrived as ordinary civilians from every corner of Sierra Leone. Today, they stand transformed—more disciplined, physically stronger, mentally resilient, and professionally grounded in the values of military service. This Pass-Off Square marks the successful completion of the first of their 3 training phases, a significant milestone on their journey to becoming fully trained soldiers of the RSLAF. The ceremony was graced by the Chief of General Staff, representing the Chief of Defence Staff, alongside the Assistant Chief of Defence Staff (Training and Doctrine), General ranking Officers, Senior officers, Instructors, families, and invited guests. What made today's parade truly remarkable was not just the numbers, but the precision, confidence, and excellence displayed by such a large intake of recruits. Their performance earned admiration from the Guest of honour and all present reflecting the dedication of both the recruits and the instructors who guided them throughout this demanding first phase.
