@arumikalover: extension to ballerina mikasa x pianist armin au (beautiful art by @🖤) love the idea of arumika both going abroad to pursue performing arts while simultaneously grieving the loss of their childhood best friend eren. coming of age, learning to love again, becoming accustomed to doing things without the original “glue” of their friendship. they’re such a special dynamic to me, relationships that could be functional romantically but still remain platonic or ambiguous aren’t explored enough in media. for how much variation there is in human connection, people in fandom spaces are too quick to approach character pairings with a one dimensional lens. it’s beautiful to interpret these two in the space between, there’s something so so sincere about love without the transactional nature of romantic relationships. #arumika #arminarlert #mikasaackerman #moodboards #AttackOnTitan
