Book early. 📍 After 6PM entry is completely free — and the light at that time of day is stunning. If you’re flexible, go in the evening. 📍 There are designated smoking areas on the beach — but smoking outside of those zones is not allowed. 📍 No dogs allowed. 📍 You cannot take any sand or seashells home. The beach is protected and they enforce it seriously. 📍 Parking is very limited. Get there early or take the shuttle from the town of Stintino nearby. 📍 Sunbeds and the little beach bars are priced very differently depending on the month. I was there at the end of May and the prices were almost half of what they become in June. A bag of crisps at the beach bar was €1.50 on 31 May — by 1 June it had jumped to €3. Same story with the sunbeds. If you want La Pelosa without the peak season prices, late May is the sweet spot.
