you should probably ask beforehand before drawing gore of someone's character, some people might be uncomfortable with certain characters of theirs being depicted as this

If you’re already thinking abt it being reported by the person you’re making it for, you should 100% ask beforehand. I know the intention is to make someone happy abt their OC being drawn, but I think it’s reasonable to first assume that someone receiving gore art of their OC wouldn’t make someone happy at all, unless they state otherwise. Never assume it’s fine when it’s not written in their permissions, a lot of ppl are new to artfight this year

Guys to clarify: I did ask afterward, and the artist said he isn’t really comfortable with it, which is totally okay. I’m going to look for someone who’s comfortable with this kind of art to overdraw this into their OC. I’ll just treat this piece as practice.
