"you wouldn't be talking and being active if you have a migraine" I deal with the pain almost everyday, dont tell me what my pain is I know what my pain is

Almost every day, and no one talks about the side effects that come with it, it’s way more than a headache it’s the brain fog, muscle spasms and pain, and fatigue, they are no joke

yep. I qualify for Botox on the NHS because of this criteria, even with daily medication, Botox and PRN abortive medications, I can still have status migraines (+72hrs of continuous migraine - does allow short periods of remission with triptans etc before returning). Once this was for 4 weeks - it was relatively mild, I had a continuous headache and symptoms of migraine that were not debilitating on their own but cumulatively really difficult. I could still work through that. But in contrast I had a 6 day migraine that was really intense and debilitating which didn't respond to my normal medications. I couldn't do anything at all - eating was a real challenge because I could only eat what I was craving.
Drives me up the wall when people try to say their headache is a migraine when it isn't...but 100% worse when people question other people who have chronic migraines - it's not a race to the bottom, it's a recognised disability.

The migraine is tolerable, but the fatigue afterwards is the worst. Not to mention the second I recover from the fatigue I get hit with another migraine.

Then there’s me. With a very uncommon type of migrane. It starts and doesnt stop. First attack lasted 3 months. 😭 a month in the hospital and it stopped. But still have extremely long ones. My migraines take 3-6 days. Luckily I have monthly injections now so I rarely have them now. 🙌🏼
