@engcountrylife: Today the ducklings discovered peas. Lovely, fresh garden peas. Hugh is starting his "pocket duck" training. He's determined to have a pet duckling that he can carry in a pocket and feed peas to with the little beak popping out of the pockets for a pea. Stage 1, the introduction to peas, was completed today. Stage 2, handfeeding the duckling peas was also completed today. Stage 3, getting the duckling comfortable in a pocket has yet to commence!
