Yes we did, booked through Expedia. Think it was booked through Lufthansa as part of their flight group. You can’t book seats through air china without a Chinese phone number so you’ll need to check in at the airport

Yes. But always via trip .com. Never had any issues with them either. Flown all the main Chinese airlines with them

always always always direct!!! if you have any issues, the airline will sort it as your contract is with them. it can be a nightmare trying to get hold of someone from a 3rd party.

DONT USE GO TO GATE!!!! Always use the original airline if you can, you’ll have so many more protections and should be able to choose meal options etc

No matter where I travel around the world I always book directly from the airlines. I don’t know about for what’s best for when traveling with air china tho 🥰 hope you figure out ❤️

When I flew Shanghai to Beijing I used trip.com it was fine but you can’t check in online so get to the airport early
