Nalanda was never a University but a buddhist bihar like shompur bihar, maynamati bihar. It was first destroyed by king shashanka and then restored by pala dynasty. When pala dynasty(buddhist) was defeated by sena dynasty(hindu), it were brahmins who destroyed nalanda. Nalana got almost ruined even before the invasion of kilji in bihar. Then hindu historians altered the history as they always do. Thats why nalanda is not globally accredited as the first ever University😁. If having some manuscripts and deciples make a place an university then alexandria and baghdad were the biggest university.. but nobody claims so. Indians learn history from bollywood, godi media and some books written by fanatic extremists. You guys should rather focus on hygiene and make sure that everyone got their own toilets other than creating communal conflicts..
