The problem is if they put a real manual in their car the V12 makes too much torque for a clutch to handle, and if it was a real manual clutch would have to be super heavy and not enjoyable to drive and I will drive more like a truck than a Ferrari so this “fake”

I cant believe people are hating on this. Hot take but this is BETTER than a traditional manual. Sure there is some soul in traditional manuals, but i think as a car realistically the option for manual and automatic is so much more efficient

people think it's like those weird fake gears on EVs for some reason. it's a real manual, by this logic paddle shifters aren't manual, the cyber truck isn't driveable at all since it's electronically steered

The reason manufacturers aren't making manuals anymore is because basically nobody bought them when automatic transmission became common in the industry. This goes for common commuters and high performance exotics. Most people would just pick the automatic over the manual anyway, it's just simply supply and demand. Most people complaining are the minority who wouldn't afford it or never experience it. These are the same people who will glaze the koenigsegg cc850 for doing the same thing but it's koenigsegg so they get a pass. This new technology is a great starting point of reviving the manual in the industry, it's the best of both worlds.
