That was 1 rotation that needs a lot work axel is 1,5 and u took off with an axel prep which isnt for begginers + on the ice u wont even be able to do anything yet

Coming from a figure skating coach you have a great start on your single axel! Be sure that if you actually start skating not to rush into high level jumps like axels or doubles and make sure to learn all your basics first to make sure you don’t injure yourself

Bruh ppl are being so mean. If you have never skated before, this is GREAT compared to those who also haven’t. You have a good foundation and that axel attempt was actually on the right track. If you want to start, I think you’d be amazing and a fast learner!

You should try being one, it’s quite good. However as a figure skating coach don’t use your arms to spin you’re going to hurt yourself badly if you fall, it’s your hip that will help you spin 😁. For the Axel your arms slide your hips before crossing over your chest
