Gossip Avenue spoke in an exclusive phone interview with the person who managed Kobby Autotune’s social media accounts and closely worked with him. According to him, about a month ago, Kobby was allegedly assaulted after being accused of plucking mangoes from someone’s tree. He claims the beating left Kobby with severe facial swelling. He further alleged that the incident was reported to the police, who issued a medical form for a doctor’s endorsement. However, he says they were unable to complete the process because they could not afford the GH¢400 allegedly requested to sign the medical report. According to the account shared with Gossip Avenue, Kobby later recovered from the visible injuries. However, yesterday he reportedly complained of severe stomach pain and sadly passed away. He also stated that Kobby’s body is currently at the mortuary and that the person alleged to have assaulted him is still walking free. These claims were made during our interview with Kobby’s social media manager and have not been independently verified or proven in court.
