As a mom of an autistic daughter who cries in pain when dogs bark I’d be pretty upset if dogs were on the beach when it specifically says no dogs. People take their dogs to the grocery store now they are weird

I have an autistic son (non verbal) and I don’t teach him how to fear dogs rather how to handle them when they want to approach. He most of the time ignores them. If I’m not stressed he is not stressed.

*terrifying* was the word you were looking for. Terrorizing implies intent. Your child just got scared of a normal dog doing normal dog things. Which is valid, but terrorizing is a bit of a stretch
